This great British lifestyle event started in conversation with officials of the Lenox Chamber of Commerce in response to their desire to build tourism and share with us the beauty of the Berkshires and the vast resources that their community had to offer. Our discussions quickly expanded with a focus on the rustic beauty of Tanglewood and the facilities maintained as the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
As our conversations continued the BSO Management Team of Tanglewood joined ranks with the Town of Lenox to provide the venue and the resources for a most memorable weekend British Adventure. As this new event continued to unfold we found the support of British Car Clubs and Fellow enthusiasts from both near and far. The Lenox Merchants have responded to their Chamber of Commerce by agreeing to host a Friday evening Street Party complete with a live British Tribute Band for the enjoyment of our registrants and guests and the Lenox Community featuring the streets lined with British Motorcars in celebration of the weekend.
It is the objective of the Meet Organizers to work closely with the Town of Lenox and the Management team of the BSO to produce a quality lifestyle experience that can be repeated each year on Father’s Day Weekend. We may change some of the components from year to year, with the objective of presenting British Motorcars (New and Classic for show and/or purchase), British Automobilia and Fashion, and British Food and Beverages. We will incorporate back roads touring and activities certain to please the whole family. So whether you are an owner of a British Classic or are looking to become one or if you simply enjoy things British this is a weekend not to be missed.
