Timeless jazz classics from Arthur Hamilton, Ray Charles, Oliver Nelson, George Gershwin, and Frank Loesser will be interspersed with popular hits from the 70’s up to today. PAST EVENT / June 4: En Diablada: Jason Ennis & Natalia Bernal (Latin Fusion): Natalia Bernal’s En Diablada Project is inspired by the rich cultural legacy and striking natural beauty of her native Chile, and fuses Andean and other South American folkloric traditions with elements of jazz, blues, and rock. En Diablada is a vivid window into Natalia’s mind and her dreams of the Atacama Desert, the people that inhabited the lands thousands of years ago, and how their heritage can teach us to navigate the new paradigms of society. Joining Bernal in the quintet configuration of this project is guitarist/co-composer/musical director Jason Ennis, saxophonist Michael Zsoldos, NYC-based Brazilian bassist Itaiguara Brandão, and multigrammy-winning drummer Mark Walker.

PAST EVENT – June 18: Wintergreen (Traditional & Contemporary Folk): Jared Polens and Larry & Alice Spatz perform a mix of contemporary and traditional music from the British Isles and America, as well as original songs. Their music features intricate three part harmonies accompanied by hammered dulcimer, guitar and double bass & more. The music of Wintergreen has been described by The Berkshire Eagle as having the “…crystalline clarity of a chamber ensemble…” with “complex, downright acrobatic three-part harmonies.”
