With a year-round population of about 5,000 and a summer population of 35,000, Lenox is small enough to be friendly but large enough to offer all the necessary services of contemporary living. If quality of life is important to you, Lenox deserves a close look.

Lenox has a diverse supply of housing, ranging from cozy capes and ranches to some of the remaining grand mansions built in the Gilded Age. The town’s school system is known as one of the best in Massachusetts. Other town services are excellent. The business environment in Lenox is very good, especially for the tourist sector. In recent years, high technology firms also have found Lenox an attractive location, among them computer service firms, specialized marketing companies and special effects designers for Hollywood movies.
