Five great summer cocktail finds in Lenox

A trio of great drinks at Firefly Gastropub

Nothing says summer like relaxing outside with a cocktail in hand. Almost everywhere on this list will let you do just that and even when you are inside these drinks are like a vacation in a glass all on their own. With some many great bars and restaurants in Lenox choosing just five great summer cocktails is a major challenge. So many other great drinks could have been featured but here are five favorites.

Lisa’s Favorite
Alta
This great cocktail is the perfect way to cool down in the summer. Starting off with the jalapeno infused tequila made right on site they add that to a perfect combination of fresh muddled orange and cilantro, agave nectar and lime juice to bring it all together.

Jackie’s Margarita
Olde Heritage Tavern
With a special edition of Patron aged in a barrel that was made for the Heritage, this cocktail is not your everyday margarita. The barrel aged tequila adds a great and unique flavor with the fresh squeezed lime juice. Enjoy it outside at the “big table’ made from a huge tree that used to stand out front.

Elderflower Gimlet
Firefly Gastropub
Tito’s Vodka is joined by fresh lime and St. Elder’s elderflower liqueur to make a gimlet that can’t be missed. The front porch is the perfect place to sip this great cocktail as the sun sets in the heart of downtown Lenox.

Grapefruit Cosmo
Mazcots
If you want a spot to unwind, watch the game and enjoy a good cocktail swing by Mazcots. This one features Deep Eddy Grapefruit Vodka, triple sec, lime juice and grapefruit juice.

Aperol Spritz
Brava
Like everything they do at Brava, this classic is done the way it should be. What says summer refreshing more than a glass of prosecco, a pour of Aperol and a splash of soda, topped with a slice of orange?
