Lenox is home to renowned theatre and music venues, historic gilded-age sites, and enviable destination wellness, wedding & lodging facilities. Downtown Lenox has a high concentration of galleries, all within walking distance of each other. A full cultural experience in Lenox includes sampling our rich selection of restaurants and shops.
The Lenox Cultural District was established by the Mass Cultural Council in 2019, in recognition of our unique blend of small town charm with world class culture and arts.
The Lenox Cultural Council, (as distinct from the District), with funding from the Mass Cultural Council and the Town of Lenox, awards grants to organizations and individuals to help underwrite projects, programs, and events in the arts, humanities, and sciences in order to foster a rich cultural life for Lenox residents.
